The CURATING ON THE WEB — WEBINAR aims to stimulate and expand critical and practical thinking about curatorial work on the web. The webinar focuses on curatorial interventions online that challenge the mechanisms and traditional models of producing and displaying contemporary art; offering a historical overview and new perspectives and ways of imagining the system of contemporary art and ‘being online’.

Over the course of 2 days (29-30 April), a series of presentations and discussions were moderated by the event organisers, and talks by guest speakers who will discuss their work and projects: Rebecca Edwards and Nimrod Vardi -arebyte Gallery (UK) / ZHANG Ga (US) / Kaushal Sapre and Aarushi Surana (IN) / Guido Segni -Green Cube Gallery (IT) / Valentina Tanni (IT) / Virginie Tan and Astrid Lours-Riou (FR).

With the intent to nurture cross-cultural exchanges and discourses in the field of digital curation, the webinar also examines the role of curating on the web in confronting structural transformations and moments of systemic crisis.
